We start building our next set of new homes in June 2007. Depending on the model of RTM home you choose, it can take anywhere from two to four months to complete your new RTM home. Sometimes faster, sometimes a little bit longer depending on customizations to your RTM home.

Because we build your new RTM home in one location (along with everyone else's RTM homes), all our trades are centralized and on-site. This means your new RTM home or RTM cottage is built by professionals who not only specialize in the type of quality construction we use on your RTM home, they're always there working on our projects. Most residential construction sites are plagued by inefficiencies and it's invariably difficult to coordinate trades so your home is never built as quickly as it could be. Kimberlite Kountry Homes avoids these common pitfalls.

Absolutely not. If anything, your RTM Home is built with higher quality standards than the same type of home built onsite. The reason behind this is two fold. First Kimberlite Kountry Homes utilizes the same stringent quality building materials in all our construction regardless of the size of the building. Secondly, because your RTM Home is "Ready to Move" it has to be built stronger than the same sort of home built onsite to avoid any structural damage during the move. Your home is built stronger, and it's always built with quality materials from local suppliers. (Better materials, at a better price.)

That certainly is the case with Kimberlite Kountry Homes. We utilize local suppliers for all materials that go into your RTM home -- because these suppliers deliver to one location, we save a significant amount on delivery fees. And, because we order vastly larger amounts of materials, (we might order enough lumber to build ten homes at the same time for example) we get a better price across the board. Another reason we build a higher quality home for a lower price is all our trades are located in one spot. With everyone working on multiple homes in one location, the expense of building on various locations is eliminated and we pass this savings on to you, our valued customers!
